This is an extremely powerful video about what animals go through and about bearing witness to it. It has some incredible footage from roughly two years of weekly camera work by Agnes Cseke, who is also the director, and on top of it, the musician, singing a heartfelt lament for the animals. The lyrics are very powerful too: their tears are in your eyes. It shows animal rights activists weeping outside the trucks. This short music video truly captures the spirit of bearing witness to injustice outside a slaughterhouse. You should share it with meat-eaters; it would definitely persuade some of them to go vegan. Its like Earthlings in that sense, but much shorter. However, unlike Earthlings, it doesnt show animals being killed. Most of the shots are of the cows while they are still alive, looking into their eyes. This allows us to see things from their point of view, to question the insanity of being a slave and of suffering needlessly. We see that they want to live too and to be free and happy. Thank you Agnes for making and sharing this great video. It deserves millions of views. p.s. if you dont like music in videos of this kind -- which some people do not -- just hit mute and watch the footage -- its never before seen shots of these particular slaughterhouses, St. Helens and Ryding Regency in Toronto. Personally I like the music in this, but its a matter of taste.
