This is an important conversation for Americans to have. I am glad the Times reported on the Perspective of John Yoo, the same man who danced around international law to authorize torture when he was a White House counsel. It shows the twisted logic of those who want constitutional rights to apply only to "approved" people and organizations. THAT is EXTREMELY important. Do you believe that those rights belong only to those that any political party approves of when in power? Do you want people who believe that leading our government? Are they "rights" if they are handed out at discretion instead of belonging to all?
