This is an interesting Lennon-McCartney song in that they both worked on it together and put their own mark on it. Paul wrote the music and some of the lyrics but the core lyrics are Johns. He said that he had always bottled things up and had a hard time speaking about things so he would fit with men and hit women he was with. It was a confessional song where he was trying to become a man of peace (changing his scene). Paul sings the lead there. From 1967s Sgt. Peppers.
