This is an interesting article I (JKM) read a few days ago, as it describes how non-Jewish people are being drawn to Conservative and Reform Jewish synagogues, significantly changing the demographics and dynamics. Obviously, there are parallels to be drawn with what is seen in the Messianic movement, as the majority of the people in Messianic congregations are not Jewish. It is prophesied that the nations would come to Zion to be taught Gods Torah (Micah 4:1-3; Isaiah 2:2-4), traditionally recited as the Torah is brought out in the morning Shabbat service. The challenge here is that these people are not really being drawn to congregations where Yeshua the Messiah is lifted up as the Savior of Israel and the world! As you read this, how might parts of the Messianic community need to rethink or retool some of their current vision--which will need to transition into a two-fold mission of declaring Yeshua to the Jewish people, and also seeing evangelical Christians appreciate their Hebraic Roots and faith heritage in Judaism? haaretz/jewish-world/jewish-ga/1.625698
