This is an interesting idea to me. Apologizing for something you say at the spur of the moment. Makes you wonder if it is sincere or PR. When I think of the word that Jonah Hill said I never think of it in terms of being hate speak. I only think of it as something that is really the nuclear option in an argument with a guy. Maybe that is part of the problem. There are other words that at least to me only have one meaning and no place in the societal lexicon but, for some reason I feel like the real hate and venom in This word is reserved in actions. Is that me being ignorant? As usual when something like this pops up you have internet crusaders wondering why Mel Gibson is still being chastised for his comments, while hill gets a pass? If I am guessing its because Mel Gibson is a racist, anti-Semitic piece of s*** and Jonah Hill had a slip of one ugly word. I am the biggest fan of free speech you will find but, the guys that chuck hate from the safety of their internet makes me wish their address popped up under their comment. Enough from me.
