This is an interesting read, and can make for a great conversation. Do you think Opry members should be dropped for not fullfilling their membership obligation....or should they losen or lose the 10 shows a year requirement all together? Should they offer membership to more dedicated artists as opposed to whats popular at the moment? I know Jimmy Wayne and Craig Campbell are just two of the frequent guests on The Grand Ol Opy, but not members. Personally i think they should be, they have a respect for the place that seams to be lacking in other prominant members. It seams to me, many dont take the obligation seriously....membership is just another trophy, or notch on their belt to say they are somebody.
