This is an official statement regarding the resignation of Orin Phillips as Executive Director of Youths for Guyana on August 3rd 3014. In an emergency meeting held tonight at YFG HQ, I have taken action on the letter of resignation from Orin Phillips dated August 3rd 2014. I have declined to accept it. I understand fully of his desire to resign to lead a private life which is treated with infinite respect and much humanity. However, I have acted in full authority which comfortably allowed me to talk Orin Philips out of resigning from Youths for Guyana as Executive Director. The strategic vision and altruistic devotion with which you have served Youths for Guyana in recent years cannot yet be spared. His resignation has been withdrew before a formal submission on August 4th 2014 at the YFG HQ. I hereby reinstate his position Executive Director thereof with all responsibilities and privileges with immediate effects to Youths for Guyana. Orin Phillips Accepted.
