This is an old ranch in Gillespie Basin Montana.It was owned and operated by two sisters by the last name of Gillespie.My wifes parents used to go up and play cards with the sisters.They never got electric up there because it was way off grid,but the did use propane for hot water when it first became available.During the winter months there was no way to get out so they raised big gardens and canned food during the summer for the long winter.They raised lots of cattle and had horses too.Both of my wifes parents ashes overlook this Basin.
