This is an ultrasound of a 22 day old Purebred Friesian foal. The dam is our Wold Champion Friesian mare Madelief Of Moonstruck and the sire is the #1 Friesian stallion in the USA and USEF HORSE OF THE YEAR, Sjoerd. If you watch closely and pay attention you can visualize the heart beat of the 22 day old foal. This foal was an embryo transfer that is being carried to term by a recipient mare (surrogate). All our reproductive services are managed by Dr. William Swyers of Stallion & Mare Assisted Repro. This foal is due to be born in February 2015. It is available for purchase in utero.
