This is an update on my recent cancer surgery and reconstruction work. I am so grateful for a fabulous plastic surgeon yesterday (Sunday) who took some personal time to do some amazing weekend work to reconstruct the defect on the side of my nose. I dont look that great right now, because more than my nose is involved and a further procedure will be necessary. People will no doubt stare and wont understand, so I will not be out in public for at least 3 weeks, but I am very hopeful of a good outcome. This is a very emotional experience for me right now, but I have deep faith and I do feel at peace. I know this experience will again teach me so much and will make me an even stronger woman, able to move through and beyond this detour. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers that have lifted me up. I LOVE you all!!
