Thank you, Team Isaiah/KDM URGENT: IMMEDIATE INTERVENTIONS NEEDED • Isaiah Rider’s civil rights are being violated. • Isaiah Rider, after being in a Kansas City Hospital, located in his home state of Missouri for 16 days was deported back to a Chicago Hospital against his will. • Isaiah is being held prisoner and incommunicado by the State of Illinois DCFS. • Isaiah’s current location of captivity is Comer’s Children’s Hospital part of University of Chicago Hospital 5721 S. Maryland Ave. Chicago IL 60637, Room # 508, 773-702-1000. • Isaiah is currently being denied the right to have any visitors except his grandparents at this time. • However, inside sources have indicated that Illinois DCFS is plotting and planning to attempt to deny him visitation with his grandparents as well. • Inside sources have also indicated that IL DCFS plans to try to remove Isaiah from the current care and custody of his grandparents and detain him against his will in the State of Illinois. • Comer’s has placed a security device on Isaiah. Much like what is used for people who are on house arrest. • Currently Isaiah has less rights than a criminal. • Isaiah has committed no crime. • The hospital is currently attempting to force medicate Isaiah against his wishes. • Isaiah continues to suffer in intractable pain with painful involuntary movements of his limb lasting hours at a time without relief. In a medical facility without the resources to help him. • Isaiah is being medically neglected. • Cincinnati Children’s Hospital has agreed to try to help Isaiah in his current rare medical crisis. • Cincinnati Children’s Hospital have the multi-disciplinary specialist needed to help Isaiah. • Advocates for Team Isaiah have been working to try to get Isaiah to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital currently without success. Isaiah desperately needs our help!!!!!!! 17 year Isaiah Rider who has Neurofibromatosis a condition that causes tumors to grow on the nerves, is currently in a medical crisis that was first triggered after a partial amputation of his lower leg. This extremely rare condition has not been properly diagnosed and as a result Isaiah has not been able to receive the treatment he so desperately needs. Several weeks ago Isaiah had a re-occurrence of the severe and debilitating pain after an injury in mid-November. He has been in a hospital in his home state of Missouri for 16 days when suddenly on Thursday around 5pm the family was notified that the Illinois DCFS was deporting him back across state lines to Chicago Illinois. It was while in Laurie’s Children’s Hospital of Chicago Isaiah was medically kidnapped in April 2014 following a dispute between Isaiah’s mother’s request for a second opinion. He was removed yesterday from a Missouri hospital against his will. Isaiah went to social media and posted a video to state clearly what his wises were. Isaiah requested to stay with his family and to not be forced to return to Chicago where he was ripped from his family and forced into a stranger’s home. Prior to this sudden transfer on Friday, Advocates for Team Isaiah have worked to try to get Isaiah to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. The hospital agreed to accept Isaiah as a patient and felt they could help him. However, the State of Illinois intercepted and denied the transfer. The State of Illinois has is clearly violating Isaiah Rider’s civil rights, he is all of this 19 days before Christmas after spending Thanksgiving in severe pain in a hospital room. This family has been totally torn apart, and the worst part is Isaiah is not receiving the treatment he so desperately needs and he would receive in Cincinnati. The controversial question has been raised, if Isaiah is considered of age in the State of Missouri; then why was he removed from Missouri soil against his will and transported across state lines to the State of Illinois? Isaiah Rider needs to be rescued from the corrupt hands of Illinois DCFS. Isaiah is currently being medically neglected, in eminent danger.
