This is another church in our area that will be having something for the chuldren for those who are looking for safe places in the area for Halloween they are on Mt. Zion road and Ridge road . Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Several items on the agenda this week: 1. Mt. Zion Trunk or Treat will be happening rain or shine! Whether a dash through the line of cars and costumes if the weather permits or a leisurely stroll through the church hallways and crazy characters if it is raining, come have a great time with Mt. Zions Truck or Treat, Thursday night 6:30-8pm. You will know where the candy and treats are as soon as you pull up in the parking lot! 2. I have seen a lot of posts about Pastor Appreciation this past week. Well, just so everyone knows....Mt. Zion celebrated Pastor Appreciation month and it was awesome! Thank you to the Sunday School classes who hosted lunches each week (I was not gluttonous, but I am very healthy), the organizers of said lunches (nothing was ever redundant), the kiddos (who gave me a lot of letters, encouragement, and hugs!), the givers of gifts (cards, letters, encouragement, prayers, items, thoughts...you name it and we got it!) all the members (who are gracious in putting up with me and love my family I in a way that seems to us, unconditional), to anyone that has been left out that is associated with Mt. Zion....THANK YOU! I feel and know that I am appreciated and truly blessed and honored with the position God has given me. 3. Last week, I did not post anything about Sunday School and worship...and for that I apologize. All are welcome to join us for services and we hope you do. A big welcome and invitation to return to the many visitors we had in services last Sunday. If there is anything we can help you with or any questions we might can answer, please let us know! 4. For the upcoming week...You all are invited to Mt. Zion Sunday morning for Sunday School and worship. You are now officially encouraged to bring someone with you too! A new five-week Sunday school class will begin. This Right Track class is for anyone. Considering membership? New member? Looking for a place? Seeking a new direction? Try the “Right Track” class beginning at 9am. Coffee and snacks will be provided (if I dont forget!) If you are looking for a church home, looking for a new start, looking for place to settle and feel comfortable, or just curious, come join us at 10am for the praising of the Lord (traditional, contemporary, solos, choir, congregational- you name it, we got it) the preaching of the Word (as of today, it will be all about GRACE) and the participating in assembling with others at our worship services. Mt. Zion has a place for you...A Christ-Centered, Mission-Minded, and Giving-Growing Church. Yall come!!
