This is another day the Lord has made. Have you chosen to rejoice and be glad? I just did. I had to make up my mind as to how I will approach this day. Am I going to be discouraged bc Mills blood pressure is up? Am I fretting bc my little brother is still in the hospital? Am I going to be upset bc MANY things in my life are not as I wish they were? Those things could definitely get me down if I allow them to be my focus. No, I choose to rejoice. I choose to believe Gods report that says we are more than conquerors. I can not change my circumstances right now, but I have full control over the way I approach them. I will let my praise be the currency I spend today, not worry. The devil would love for all of us to focus on what is wrong instead of thanking Jesus for His unfailing love and mercy. Get out of the pit of despair and self pity and find one or two things you can praise Him for. Then begin to praise Him out loud with your mouth. You, too, will see the entire atmosphere in your home and surroundings change. This, my friend, is how to live the victorious life. Jesus warned us that in the world we will have trouble, but we are to take heart because He has overcome the world. Thanks for letting me encourage myself as I encourage you!
