This is another one of those amazing moments, goosebumps. Frission. (bumps on geese en Francaise). I didnt go to this Rainbow Gathering in Colorado (even though I LOVE Gatherings in Colorado) because I was finishing on my big mural in Buckhannon. Ive never heard of this video before. I found this on the Facebook page of a European Hippie who made an unusual post on a rainbow group that I am an administrator for, and I was checking him out to see if he really wrote in that garbled gibberish, or if he was a poser, a possible troll, and then. . . In the video, At 6:40, an amazing thing (to me) happens. A beautiful, dear Sister is leading the Family in a song at main Circle. She is singing loud & gentle & clear. The crowd is joining in, whole-heartedly, peacefully ecstatic. Everyone is singing this song, over & over, a sweet tune, sounds familiar, what is it, oh My Goodness! They are singing MY Song, in a different tempo, with lilting melody and I wasnt leading it! This is the song that I have taught in sign language to hundreds & hundreds of children around the world, so I dont know why I am so surprised. But it is the only song that is really featured in this whole video, and its on the Fourth of July, in main circle, at the height of celebration. These people, my family thought that this little song for children, was worthy of the moment. Im in tears. Once again I am reminded of that which I have only recently understood. What it means to feel that I am humbled, when actually, one of the most glorious things has happened to my heart.
