This is another short presentation put together by yet another self proclaimed atheist Bible scholar. Again, I am not posting this to debunk faith, but for the fact that I LOVE studying scripture. I think anyone who is fond of scripture would find this video interesting, even if the perspective by which he is approaching this is not one to confirm scripture as a historic fact, at least in regards to the physical sphere. What he does do is put emphasis of study on the Solar Christ mythos as preserved by Hellenistic Greek tradition, and he goes on to point out the common themes found within myth writing. There is too much to say about this video, it is a great introduction, and again confirms the fact that there is no unified Atheist agenda to just dismantle and disprove scriptural significance. In fact, unlike most Atheists who Ive listened to, this guy does seem to hold a love and respect for the study, and is quite keen to debunk Atheist who had them selves made false claims prior. Such as the claims that associate Mithra with Christ, or the claims that all Son of God/Savior tales are but mere form of Sun worship conducted by a bunch of superstitious primitives functioning on a bare minimum of intelligence. Even the Atheists, at least some of them, are starting to realize that things are MUCH deer than that, and that the Christ tale is indeed the Greatest, not to mention oldest story ever told.
