This is awesome! Maps of California neighborhood areas with fruit trees on public land, or fruit trees overhanging fences onto public land. The guys who assembled them communicate with the property owners, and most are more than excited to share their harvest, citing having much more than they could ever use. These guys are also part of a movement to plant some fruit tree parks, and encouraging city planners and property owners to incorporate fruiting trees into their landscaping. I love this line from a related article about the FallenFruit.org creators, irony is that most public fruit in Los Angeles is organic, blessed by neglect.
