This is backwards from what was proposed a decade ago. Phase One - TopicsExpress

This is backwards from what was proposed a decade ago. Phase One was to be solid-business development-an office building with a couple of major tenants, not more food and beverage outlets. Dealing with reality, and understanding this is more revenue flows for the Cardinals owners, they have clear responsibility to turn over to the City ticket tax revenue they have kept on every admission for the last 6 years. Voluntary. If it is not voluntary City officials should go after it. That would be a highlight of St. Louis at 250 and at least $5 million more a year from just admissions to Busch Stadium and the outside seating. Yes, this may be better than a large hole in the ground but the deal needs to be cleaned up a bit.
