This is basically how this reads for me..... The Department of Fisheries unsuccessfully attempted to catch any shark because it is a shark for being in the area of a tragic and unfortunate random event regardless of whether it was the shark involved in the incident or not. Although we are not actively attempting to kill any shark right now, Fisheries WA will patrol the area of the incident and will attempt to catch any shark that fits the description of a shark if it happens to pass through the area. Fisheries WA does not acknowledge that they have not increased public safety and will not succeed in increasing public safety by catching and killing any shark in the area in a knee jerk, revenge driven, illogical, popularity attempt gone wrong by Colin Barnett and the WA Liberal Government. Fisheries WA also refuses to acknowledge being spineless puppets and willing yes men in unethical, unpopular and insane policy at the detriment of our employees and Department’s reputation. #FisheriesWA #noWAsharkcull #nosharkcull
