This is beautifully written ... its brings peace of ind while reading, unity is maintained, peace message is embedded, and love for country is shown clearly. Our National Anthem Jana Gana Mana is also beautiful, but as per my thought it does not includes any of the 7 NE sates of India, so unity is missing or a long gap is there from India to NE India, or was it written before NE was a part of INDIA. NE is just a mere boundary part of INIDA till today, the Mainland INIDANs nor the NE INDIANs never thinks equally in many factors or things. Indians (specially, metropolitan residents) never consider us as brothers or sister or as Indian, to them NE Indians are aliens Japanese, chinese, thai, burmese etc etc... And NE Indians Call The mainland Inidans as MAYANG We started singing Jana Gana Mana right from KG, but as it does not includes any of NE states any of the students does know whether we are INDIANS or not even when they reach 10th standard. A friend of mine from North INDIA once asked me why is your History not mentioned in any o the INIDAN history books nor the Geography of NE is mentioned correctly in any INDIAN geography books. I just smiled and replied, "You better ask this question to our INIDAN policy makers or Politicians. You will get a better answer." I should not forget to mention about forming INDIAN constitution, before it was in action or fully accepted, every Indian state and territory or citizen were asked to give feedback or to make any changes, but sorry to inform that this opportunity was not given to most of NE states or not to any of NE states. Constitution was just forced to be accepted in case of NE without asking any feedback. Many such instances make a room in every NE Indian heart to think whether he/she is an Indian or Does India consider them as INDIAN or just an alien...???? India has been protecting Kashmir since time immemorial, but what about KABOW VALLEY - a six-villages territory of Manipur, which India gave away to Myanmar without intimating the people of Manipur? I believed this might be the main reason why there are many insurgent groups in Manipur. People of Manipur still miss KABAW VALLEY. The People who lived in those six villages are still refugee in MYANMAR... KaBaw Valley -- comprises of several ethnic groups with diverse culture was once a territory of MANIpur. It was consider to be one of the most beautiful places in Manipur. Does it not indicates any biased towards territorial protection???? Can NE INDIA be a total integral part of INDIA ever?? Can INDIANS ever accepts us as INDIANS from their heart??? CAn a NE Indian be ever accepted as an INDIAN leader in future???? If anyone has answer to this please open my eyes.
