This is being advertised as the first FPS movie ever released. Its called Hardcore. In my day FPS meant frames per second. In my sons generation it means First Person Shooter. Actually lots of this type of movie making has previously been done for computer and XBox type games. But usually its reserved for seques and vignettes that work as expository elements to move the gaming storylines. This is a stand alone first person shooter motion picture. Its aimed at younger people whos visual vocabular is different from most people my age. Is this a change in how movies will be constructed and shot? Weigh in if you have comments.
