**This is being organized by a friend. Please read. ** Dear Friends, Our community has been touched by the tragic passing of 4 year old Elliott Githens at Ansley pool last week. As Mothers, there is no greater fear or imaginable pain than the loss of a child. As a genuine act of love, empathy and support, we would like for those who feel compelled, to drop a bouquet of flowers on the front lawn at Ansley Golf Club on Mothers Day. We ask that those who want to participate, simply drive by and place flowers in the green grass in front of the club house in honor of Elliot, her brother and parents. Our hope is that Amy and Jeff Githens will later receive a picture of a hillside of flowers and know that they have the support and empathy of our community. We hope they will be able to find comfort in this simple act of friends, neighbors and complete strangers making a gesture in such a difficult time. If you feel compelled, we ask that you please share this to get the word out. For this idea to have meaning we need participation. Lets try to offer a moment of hope for one Mothers pain on Mothers Day. Thank you. ajc/news/news/atlanta-girl-4-accidentally-drowns/nfnzj/
