This is beloved Baron! It was so cold that day and his borrowed outfit ended up being more like a maxi dress :) Update Dec 4, 2014: Baron is doing great with his foster mom and dad. He has learned to walk on a leash and absolutely loves it! He actually leaps like a gazelle and prances on those long legs -- perhaps he would do amazing on an agility track with his energy and speed too. He is still very much a puppy. He is not afraid of cats anymore, and enjoys running around the house with them. He absolutely needs a house with other dog(s) or cat(s) as he loves his partners in paw crimes. Hes absolutely happy in his one-sided bromance with another foster dog he sees on Saturdays at Petco. This other dog doesnt care too much for the companionship, but Baron is in puppy love and has attached himself to the big, white fluffball called Salty. He follows him everywhere and is very loyal. Its so pathetically adorable... He loves following his foster mommy everywhere and cant wait for her to sit down to cuddle. All in all Baron is a sweet boy; a little shy at times. He is pretty good using his puppy pads while in the house. Update from our puppy Barons foster mom on Oct 5, 2014: Baron, is doing great! He is thriving living with 2 other dogs (chi and chi mix). He was never taught how to walk on a leash, but we are working on that. He is fully house trained, with the help of puppy pads! No accidents ever! He loves other dogs, but is not a fan of cats. He has so much love to give! He is a joy and sleeps with us every night! It takes him a while to build trust, took about a week or so...still learning. He has a heart of gold and will cherish anyone who gives him love!! He is a very special boy!!! He is still trying to get used to his Very long legs, like a baby colt trying to walk for the first time...absolutely precious!!! This little Chi boy is a wee bit shy but eager to please. Hes just loving his foster mom and will blossom with you! See those ears? Hes alert, hes worried, hes listening, but yet hes able to curl up or sit and relax and look to his human for guidance. He just needs someone to teach him that everything thats scary to a puppy whos never had a stable life is not always actually scary. He needs someone to smile and tell him LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL when were together! He would really love another dog to be his companion if you cannot be his full time confidant. He would probably appreciate a soft doggie vest to help him feel secure. And he tries so hard to be social and sweet. Hes really a tiny little blessing in disguise and will be able to settle into home or travel with you once he knows he has a forever place! As of Dec, 2014 hes about 12 months old. Email wtfnapa@gmail with questions or to see if hell be there on Saturday!
