This is by far the most important episode of Cosmos this season. If you missed it, you can watch it below for free. The episode debunks every climate change myth out there and gives conclusive scientific proof - via carbon dating through ice cylinders - that the carbon levels have drastically increased since the beginning of the industrial revolution i.e. we are causing this problem. If we dont change our ways, all of human life will be extinct in the next 100 to 150 years and Earth will essentially become Venus. Whats more depressing is that we have known how to fix the problem since the 1800s, yet we are our own worst enemy. And finally, if you disagree and you dont believe humans are causing climate change, I implore you to watch the video before you make a comment on this thread and to specifically address the points raised in the episode. We are trying to garner informed discussion. Repeating talking points that do not address the episode and the points raised in it is unhelpful and distracting. -Lys
