This is certainly an unconventional SYNTHursday. First, its Wednesday, Wednesday at 5:13 PM to be precise. What is this heresy, you ask? Well, Ill be sans Internet tomorrow, so Im posting seven hours early. But the premature nature of this entry is just the tip of this avant-garde iceberg. Today, were focusing on the one-and-only Scott Walker, an artist not typically associated with synthesizers until later in his career. Heresy, you exclaim again? May be, but Walker inspired a host of our favorite synth bands, including The Dears, Pulp, New Order, Blur, and Kasabian to name a few.
