Gowon was for about Nine years Head of State, he did not make everyone from Plateau State prosperous. Obasanjo ruled Nigeria twice and in all, for over eleven years, he did not leave Ogun State roads as the best in Africa. Shehu Shagari was for over four years a civilian President, Sokoto did not come near looking like London. Niger State produced both IBB and Abdulsalami, all for about Nine years, Minna is still to me a glorified village. Abacha ruled for about five years, and beside the few who joined in wickedly chopping, the entire Kano did not get one single flyover under him, he left Kano just about how he met it. Yaradua was for about three years President, he did not made Katsina a land of honey. GEJ has been President for about four years, Bayelsans are still like all of us suffering from fuel scarcity and epileptic electricity supply. So, whats your yardstick for who you want as the next President, Governor, Minister etc, his or her tribe? Besides the big houses they build and the big big cars they bring to intimidate us, what do we in all honesty benefit from our kinsmen occupying lucrative positions?
