This is cool! So, those of you that know me, know I recycle produce if given the chance. You can plant the roots of chives, lettuces and celery, heck even the Potatoe and garlic that is bagging to not look to appeasing in your kitchen, and it will regrow! Re eat after watering and soil. Well, this I didnt think would happen. I ussually combine extra coffee grounds and Potatoe peels, dead leaves and what not- as a way to recycle; it makes filler when Im low on soil, provides new mineral and nourishment matter to the soil of to your plants, etc. Like composting. In this picture, a peel that had been thrown into my soil mix, actually began REGROWING. like, primarily the skin of what I thought was an un- save-able potato. This little guy, who I thought was from a rogue mint root or clipping that had begun regrowth is actually the beginnings of a Potatoe plant. Of course, Ive replanted it and am thinking of a Potatoe pot if its strong enough to bulb off new Potatoe root systems. For each time there is death, there may also be life renewed, my friends. Stars do die, but new stars are being born everyday. Even the smallest things deserve their best chance. :)
