This is definitely one of the most difficult statuses Ive ever had to write in my life. But unfortunately my white Volvo was just sold. We had an amazing run together. You were the car I passed my drivers test with. You were my first car, always fun to drive and cruise around town in. You survived 116 degree NJ heat waves and -15 degrees nights at UMass. You lasted through Sandy and having a temporary shed covered in snow and ice fall on top of you. I learned how to change tires and oil on you and how to check the fluids. I learned how to get a giant dent out (by jumping on it) after slamming into the back of a school bus, an accident that would have totaled a lesser vehicle. You hung out with the cool kids (loljk) cars behind Dayton, you were always better because I always kept comfy folding chairs in your trunk while they just had stupid speakers. I drove you to my first, second, third, jobs, my student teaching, my classes in high school, college, and grad school. I managed to fit 8 people inside of you once, and we rode from the NBD/Outback parking lot, to over by Sandmeir. Ive listened to countless books and albums in you with my old iPod (also RIP) and old school cassette adapter. Youve held equipment for countless numbers of shows, had drum kits, amps, cabs, bicycles, motorcycle parts, gasoline, (you name it) and was always a tank for moving things from one place to the other. We were together longer than nearly every relationship Ive ever had. You were an amazing car and you will be sorely sorely missed. 80k miles - approx 150k miles (the speedo broke a couple of times so its hard to say)
