This is disappointing news. I had much fun the handful of days that I worked on this film. I got to work with Dr Who, the cult horror icon Barbara Steele, and sing Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others by The Smiths with Ryan Gosling. I was reminded of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, David Lynch, Kurt Weill/ Bertolt Brecht, and Detroits own Theatre Bizarre. Regardless of the reviews, I still wish to see it. Mr. Gosling is much stranger and darker than one might expect, or I expected even after watching him work when I was on Ides of March two years previous to this production. I was pleasantly surprised. :)
