This is exactly how i feel. I wish i never went to public school. You dont learn even a quarter as much of what you should. You are expected to learn and think only one way and if you dont then you are wrong. Most teachers dont care if you learn or not so long as you are not bothering them. Dont get me wrong, ive had many teachers teach me things that i still use to this day, but its their life experiences and morals, not the one way structured education plan that im talking about. There should be no rules to education, your mind is a powerful machine that can not be limited. And its true, creativity is just as important as anything else, so why quiet it down?
