This is exactly why hikers should NOT be allowed at the bridle trails at Raven Rock...not only is it dangerous for the hikers BUT when negligent idiots hike with their dog OFF leash, it causes problems. on our ride today, we had an 80+ pound German shepherd barrel around the corner on the trail. It spooked my moms horse, causing her to fall off. The negligent hiker was unaware anything happened around the corner because he was so far back. When he realized how upset we were, he stated I dont know what the big fing deal is, while my mom was still on the ground!!!! The lack of concern just makes me sick. Horses can be dangerous and I dont understand why you need to come on the bridle trails. If it has to be that way, at least follow the rules!!!!!!
