This is exactly why we need a Ministry for People with Disabilities. We need to move away from this uncaring attitude and hold people to account. What will happen now is Health & Safety will attend, sue KiwiRail, and a fine will be paid. That will be it. What is needed is processes where ramps are not needed, and where people are treated with respect and courtesy, just like anyone else. Come ON people. This is NOT rocket science. This is how 20% of society is treated.
