This is fascinating. I dont want to put too much weight on this article, for a variety of reasons: (1) this is just one (admittedly big) study; (2) I cant tell from this article if its been peer-reviewed; (3) people reading articles like this inevitable misinterpret the actual data to arrive at their own predetermined conclusions. So Ill wait to see if this is supported by other lines of research. Having said all that, this once again reminds me that self-evident, blatantly obvious, anecdotally supported pervasive common sense wisdom is often proven to be completely false in light of cold, hard facts.
