This is for a person registering a trike under the MSVA dispensation. With regards re registering a bike as a trike the last time i did it i was advised by the DVLA to take it for its visit to the weigh bridge and inspection on a trailer. once they had issued the registration document i could ride it to the MOT once it was insured. Best checking with your local DVLA office as various regions are still doing it the way that works for them and not always the way they should be. Bolt in back end of an approved type , inspection only. Hardtail and others MSVA test. Thats how I understand things to be at the moment.
