This is for anyone who was trying to hate on my big public service announcement about the incredible full coverage medical and dental I got through Obamacare... Those of you who are conservative and have health insurance and are commenting about how the Affordable Healthcare Act is a sham... its not and you guys are the reason why uninsured Americans are confused and think the benefits arent good or arent really real or whatever... THEY ARE... AND... those of you who have commented on my previous post (no offense here personally folks) about how no doctor will approve the plan. You are wrong. I got full medical and dental insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield for 58 bucks a month and the overall phone conversation I had to endure on the phone with the representative was about 45 minutes tops. I did wait on hold for a long time, but when I got a person on the phone it was effortless. My specialist(a neurologist) takes the insurance plan I chose. I called him up and asked him BEFORE I decided what plan to take. PLUS, I was offered many many many choices of plans from many different providers... Aetna, Signa, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc... All big insurance companies that are taken EVERYWHERE... If you are reading this and still are slumming it like I was without insurance of any kind related to your health, do yourself a big phat favor and re-read the status update I wrote earlier today. I listed the number to the Healthcare.gov site and CALL THEM. Its open 24 hours. DO IT. IT IS EASY. YOU WILL QUALIFY. DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE A-HOLES ON FOX NEWS WHO ARE TRYING TO CONFUSE EVERYONE ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE ENTITLED TO GET. I dont care what your political stance is or isnt, this isnt about that. It is about American citizens getting basic freakin needs met....like being able to go to the damn doctor when you get sick instead of crossing your fingers and hoping its nothing serious or contagious. Its about NOT having to extract a tooth just because its cheaper than getting a freakin cavity filled! We are in the United States folks and Ive worked every damn day since I was 15 years old and Ive only had insurance ONCE in my life when I was on the road with a CIRCUS?! Also... I let a cracked tooth slide for about 3 years because I knew getting a root canal was going to be more expensive than a used car and I ALMOST DIED this past summer from an infection that was spreading to my brain. GET INSURED. YOU CAN afford it. It is real. They will work with you and you wont spend a dime today. Got it? Call the hotline tonight. Do yourself and those who care about you a favor and take care of yourself!
