This is from Amy Howard Wilson, a Facebook friend who is also a long-time voiceover professional. Among many other things, Amy voiced the character of Nova in the series Star Blazers (the US version of the 70s anime SPACE BATTLESHIP YAMATO). Bear in mind, I had merely asked for her feedback on my read of WOUNDED TIGER as someone with a great deal of experience in the voiceover field, and fully expected this part is good, that part needs work, etc. This is what she had to say: Roger, thank you again for the opportunity to listen. I have absolutely no negative feedback! The most common criticism I have is when the narrator tries too hard… I didnt get that at all from your narration. The pace was very good and it sounded as though you were telling the story - not reading the book. As with any production - anime, audio book, film - the story should be the star. You clearly regard it so. I also applaud you for NOT using background music and sound effects!!! Please let me know when the finished book is available for purchase! Many thanks again.
