This is from a friend who just lost her mother to lung cancer and emphysema, if this doesnt get your attention, I dont know what will! If you smoke and you are still alive, it is not too late to quit! Think about the people who will have to watch you die! I am just buzzed enough to be brutally honest... Dying of lung cancer and emphysema is brutal! It was wasnt peaceful by any stretch of the imagination! It was awful and terrifying and traumatic to watch. Mom was coherent until the end and fully aware as she slowly suffocated. If you are a smoker, it is never too late to stop! Please, please, do not put yourself or your family through what we all just experienced. — feeling miserable.
