This is from a gun control debate down there and I thought it was good info to re-post up here! Damien, I believe in free markets, individual liberty, sound money and a Constitutional Republic - something our founding fathers fought and died for; big difference from what you describe. The U.S. was set up as a Constitutional Republic and that means that nobody is supposed to vote on anything without FIRST considering our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Right now we have AIPAC and the Jewish Lobby controlling our sell-out Jewish and/or Zionist representatives, which is why it does not work. Furthermore, we have the unconstitutional Federal Reserve (Private Jewish Bankers) that have taken our gold and left us with the ghost of money (bogus FIAT currency) and their personal criminal collection agency, the IRS which has run off all of our business and manufacturing in this country. If we were not armed and at least some of us were not well-informed, where do you think we would be now? We have gone from a Constitutional Republic, to a dreaded Democracy (something our founding fathers hated and warned us about) to an Oligarchy. We are in deep shit and I am sure the fact that many Americans are armed is the only reason we are not complete slaves, more than we already are.
