The second amendment individual gun right is a fraud that is not precedent, it overthrew 200 years of precedent, and it will be reversed when Scalia leaves the court. That is not what we refer to as precedent. Other Supreme Courts have made mistakes, and have been reversed. This was pure right-wing nonsense. And we said inapt, inapplicable, not inept. Were not here for fun with bloggers whose job is smoke and noise, we are here to clear away your smoke and noise, and making ad hominem fallacy one post and then saying you enjoy discussion the next is called lack of credibility. Guns kill 30,000 Americans unnecessarily every year. We need to close the private sale (gun show) loophole; restore the assault weapon ban as an all-inclusive FEDERAL law (semi-automatics are used in nearly all mass shootings because that is all they are good for, and have no civilian need), to replace the grandfather exemption with a mandatory federal buy-back program; and to include ALL semi-automatic handguns, all semi-automatic rifles, and all semi-automatic and pump-action shotguns; and all large clips.
