This is from my good friend up in Show Low and the White Mountains of Arizona Parts of Galatians 5:19-12 It is obvious what kind of life develops out of trying to get your own way all the time: small-minded and lopsided pursuits; (The Message) My life has been filled with all sorts of “pursuits”… admittedly, some have been small-minded and lopsided. Most of them have been “trying to find my way” in life. Trying to survive. I suppose all of us can admit we have had some screwy ideas of what we want… Our best advice from experience: Relax, Enjoy Christ… Enjoy being loved by a God who is committed to you. He wants more for you than you can imagine… We have to be careful when we pursue anything… most things can be addictive. Recently, I found a radio station that plays the “oldies” early in the AM… No commercials. I sit and play my bass guitar and try to find a suitable part I can play along… I can get so “into-it” that I forget to go to work. The same happens with writing the “Rich Insights”… When I feel God stimulating… I could write for hours… almost anything can become over done and God desires that we be “addicted” to none of these.
