This is from one of our lovely clients, Trudie regarding baited dogs. Again, please be aware, keep your eyes open and report anything suspicious to police. It sickens me that this is happening in our community. This happened to genie a couple of weeks ago (all three of my babies have been through it in the last few weeks!) we received a cowardly anonymous poison pen letter in the post box complaining that our dog was causing distress due to continuous barking throughout the night genie - big softy likes to be tucked up in bed by 8.00pm so couldnt possibly be her! This was followed up by our never sick ever dog being violently sick. Upon inspection the next morning we discovered someone had been on our property. We are lucky genie is a big dog and that she managed to get the poison out of her system but it saddens me to think that someone else might lose a beloved family pet because of someones terrible behavior. Please report anything suspicious to the police - they are looking into it and are also furious that this is happening in our kind community.
