This is from one of the moms of a student who went to Marrakech. I am in awe of how great the kids from Morocco were. We learned that theyre really just like us! Hard to explain, but I guess we all just get fed a bunch of information from the media and from it we assume people are one way or another. I know one of the Moroccan kids said they had been told things about Americans and when he came here, he found we are much different....we were very nice, friendly, etc. I think its wonderful the kids in Scottsdale have the opportunity to see the big world and big picture and I am so thankful for Sister Cities for this experience.
