This is from our Governor here in Florida.....so all you Veterans that want to begin your flight training, but did not want to pay out of state tuition fees.....this is your time!!!! We are finally honoring our VETS!!!! Good afternoon, This week we took the time to recognize the hard work and sacrifice of our brave veterans. We had the honor of joining United States Air Force Major General Emmett R. Titshaw and the Florida Department of Veteran Affairs to present 286 Florida veterans with the Governor’s Veterans Service Award for their service to Florida and our nation. I also recently signed the Florida GI Bill to waive out of state tuition fees for our veterans, which helps expand employment and career opportunities for veterans and their spouses. We will continue to recognize our veterans for their countless contributions to America and work towards making Florida the most military-friendly state in the nation. Have a great weekend.
