This is from our dear friend, Mary Mulvenna Zimmer: I wanted to invite the wonderful people of New Baltimore, and surrounding communities to a special event we are hosting on Orchard Lake Drive on December 23 at 6:00 pm. We will be singing Christmas carols, and delivering joy and happiness to a little girl named Aislynn Merritt. Aislynn is a 14 year old from Anchor Bay High School. She has brain cancer. The high school, and the surrounding community has been so wonderful in support of this family. Please come on Dec 23. The neighbors on the street have agreed to turn their garage lights on and porch lights on to indicate that it is ok to park in their driveways up and down the street. We will have cookies and hot chocolate in the driveway of the Merritt family home at 36434 Orchard Lake. (Orchard Lake Drive is off of County Line, not far from the High School on the opposite side) Donations will be accepted. The high school Choir, and the choir from First Baptist Church NB will be there to lead us in singing. Come support your neighbors. The costs of raising a child with cancer are much more than any family should need to bear alone. Please share this invite if it pertains to your friend list.
