That thought pattern actually works in favor of alternative theories but no, mass media (MM) will take that to their advantage saying researchers want the most horrible proof these now 10s of stories are in deed true up to the graves. Well, although I disagree because lately anything goes and doing so might provide true evidence towards their stories; I can see how people who just wake up to whats happening can be so short on any real evidence they might say that. If these cases are true, you will always find glitches in the art / act if you have an eye to see, heavens forbid a trained eye with knowledge and understanding of physics in this case and sept11 cases, video editing (especially chroma key) or photo editing as professionals.
