This is going to be a long story. Feel free to comment or whatever. Its really nice out today the weather is finally cooling down :) This is *The realest street art- from real people in the high desert area. My friend Dan did this! I just ran into him at Food4less yesterday and dropped him off at a yard sale. I used to go to rehab with him at Pine Ridge back in 2006-2009 and longer. He was there when I got my 3 year chip and Anita was my counselor. Great guy but was depressed a lot. Sometime around real soonish in the past week he did this art. He was always drawing in rehab. Then he did this piece. Unsure of how, location, or how soon ago he did it but I suspect it was yesterday around 5 PM before it got dark and then after it got dark. Crazy. Its beautiful art that bridges the urban culture, and its the water of the people. This piece is yard sale off Jacaranda. I hope he doesnt get mad that I just called him out, but he was supposed to call me for a math tutoring job and he never showed up...hahaha. He was supposed to pay me $8/hr for me to teach him math and do his math tests together at the VVC computer labs, but he must have been busy hitting the street. I was pissed and spent an hour driving around to find his house and finally got there and he was gone but these 2 people were there and they took down my cell number. Who knows when he did it...but he did and somehow he pulled it off. Hes 65 years old and still young. Wisdom and prophecy through art. People are very visual. I wonder who SREN is that did the picture Im using for my cover photo lol its super dope :) spectacular artistic design from real people. Life isnt about throwing stuff away, its about getting something. Getting something through something thrown away and given to another person. Sacrifice. My man Dan is 65 years old and is still doing street art. Age is just a #. I gave him a ride from Food4Less to his house around where the yard sale was going on. These street walls were once just a wall, part of a structure, and void of any other meaning. Look at it now.. :) its beautiful art. I was all over town for most of yesterday, driving, walking, etc. Im glad I ran into my old friend Dan. I was out recycling cans to buy some stuff for writing and some folders and to get miles on my car so I can get current tags. I have to get a temp on my tags because they are expired and Pep Boys told me I need to drive 120 miles on the car because the battery died before. Its a technical glitch that happens when the battery dies so the car does not pass the smog test. I have 99.8 miles on the car right now. Its my boat. Buick 2006 Lesabre. My dad gave me the car to drive and he cant drive it cause hes disabled but its registered in his name so I do stuff for the family.
