This is going to be a political post but Ill try to make it non controversial hopefully. My dad often says that Reagan was the right man at the right time, and thats really what we as a country need now. The greatest presidents in this country have been the very first ones, our forefathers. Rare gems have come in my lifetime like Reagan, George Bush Senior (Not a fan of his son), and Clinton. Im an independant and I dont think along party lines. I think thats the problem with America. People have gone too far left or too far right and they cant see straight anymore. You have to have 20/20 vision to see the big picture. My point in this post, is only that we are facing things right now that are truly scary in this world, and I sincerely hope that we get lucky enough to get the right man at the right time again. I want to get back to the way I felt when I watched this speech for the first time. I watched this in class one day, and I made the decision to join the military in that moment, and I did.
