This is going to be an odd (and VERY NERDY) question, but how do my serious movie buddies organize their DVDs? I used to do it by director, but I have so many quirky titles that thats not really practical. I moved another shelf into the media room and now I can see all of my titles—this is great, as lots of discs were behind other discs or shoved in drawers—but Im not sure about arrangement. I moved all the Criterion disc onto one shelf—not very democratic, I realize, and about the honkiest thing Ive ever typed, but they look great together. But now I have, for example, Douglas Sirk films in two places. (Criterion did NOT do Imitation of Life! Can you imagine?) Any suggestions? Im looking at you James Griffin, James Hutto, Roy Burns III, Brian Rich, and Jon Ezell.
