This is going to look like a reflective New Years Eve post, but it is really just a reflective post that happens to be on New Years Eve. We love to think a new year is a reset, but you can reset any time. My reset was on August 18. I stepped away from the corporate world and jumped into the wild and woolly world of freelance and business ownership. That has been an education in and of itself. Really it has taught me more about not just my own priorities and abilities, but how many amazing people are around me at any given time. The fact that many of these people have always had faith in me, more that I have at any given time, is a fairly humbling thought. Thank you to all the amazingly talented people around me that make me constantly want to be a better human: Rick Petro, Sue Petro, David Petro, Kevin Petro, Lisa Grigsby, Nicole Davis Nett, Bryan Suddith, Richard J Kaiser, Cindy DeVelvis, Trent Langley, Bridget Logan Oaks, James Doc White, Megan Knight, Brandon Miller, Molly Peppo, Molly Dahl, Bambi Lynn Branchfield, Kevin Gallagher, and Laura Sanders McCaffrey. Of course, a very special thank you to my love, Kim Metter. She has to deal with me most often, and periodically drink terrible cocktails. She deserves special awards for all of her support.
