This is going to sound absurd but I had to show my youngest daughter how to use her imagination (I am surprised mine still works) she has a hard time with summer being that she doesnt have school and her sisters are all either gone or busy with their age appropriate activities. so after she asked me for the 50th time to let her play my phone, I realized we needed to break out the old school techniques. I gathered 10 stuffed animals, a laundry basket, books, crayons and paper and told her she was going to teach her students (lol her piled up critters) just like she gets taught at school. first we used the laundry basket as the bus, nope ladies and gents there were no seat belts) we packed that bus plum full of willing pupils and headed to school. The kids now all sitting on various things around the room (college style class room), the bus has now been converted to a desk and class has began. lol wowzers. I am so glad I survived my childhood without laptops, cell phones and gaming systems. Otherwise I am not sure I would have known how to spark her imagination. :) ps. I am the best mom ever, I gave her my radio lol and now the kids are learning about music *giggle* *marks this one down as a win*
