This is good news for all Americans. In spite of all the obstruction from the Republican Party we have been in a slow recovery for quite some time. Just think how much better it would be if a Jobs Bill had been passed for our crumbling infrastructure needs as the barrowing cost were next to nothing. Or if state governments had not slashed spending so quickly and severely affecting public sector jobs most notably in education. News alert to Republicans in Congress....the stimulus package did help because it was an investment in workers to stop the bleeding so we could turn things around. Why is it when Bush on his way out at the the start of the collapse and Republicans in Congress had no trouble rescuing the lending institutions? That bailout(TARP)the Troubled Asset Relief Program was necessary because of our to big to fail lending institutions but regardless they didnt blink an eye for that investment. But when it comes to actually investing in individual workers(auto industry, health care, teachers, police fireman, etc) we cant afford it. If the Obama Administrations economic policies are so bad then we would not be in this encouraging position. We are the United States of America so lets act like it for the good of the people.
